Sundays at Hillcrest
We realize it can be intimidating to visit a church for the first time. That’s why we’ve created this page: to give you a sense of what to expect and how to prepare.
We offer in-person and online worship options
Sundays at 9am & 10:30am
What are Sundays really like?
We dress casual, with a handful of people still styling their “Sunday best” as a way of showing honor to God.
People generally mingle before and after service—we’re a highly relational church, but not in a clique or awkward kind of way—we genuinely enjoy getting to know one other and being involved in each other’s lives beyond Sunday.
We’re a multi-generational church, which is a fancy way of saying that we’ve got newborns, toddlers, teenagers, young professionals, young families, empty nesters, and retirees all doing life together on Sundays and throughout the week.
The service itself is about an hour long. We sing songs, we hear passionate preaching from the Bible, we share stories from people in our community, and then we’re sent back out to follow Jesus Monday through Saturday in our homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces.
