Paul AGAIN wants us to grasp that our dying with Christ gives us confidence
in a future resurrection; we will rise from the dead, and clarity about the depth of our
union with Christ, which will inevitably empower us to overthrow the control of sin in our lives.
...The Resurrection, Christ’s indestructible life, secures our future and provides
unbelievable hope (v8-10).
...Our union with Christ transforms our life, our present; sin no longer has the same
authority over us (v5-7).
